How to clear app data on Android?
Go into your Android phone’s Settings
Scroll down and select Apps (this may be Applications or Apps & Notifications depending on your Android make & model)
Scroll through your list of apps and select the GEMS app.
Tap Storage or Storage & Cache
Tap Clear Data or Manage Storage
Confirm by tapping OK or Clear All Data when the pop-up appears
How to clear app data on iOS?
Delete the app (Clearing all data)
Tap the Settings icon on your home screen
Scroll down and select General
Scroll down and choose Storage iPhone
Scroll through your list of apps and choose the GEMS app.
Tap Delete App
Confirm by tapping it again when the pop-up appears
How to View Daily Clock In and Out of Employees in GEMS
Log in to the GEMS Web App
Use your registered email address.
If you're a current employee, use the same password as the GEMS mobile app.
Otherwise, enter your web application password
Navigate to Attendance Records
Go to Manage Attendance on the left menu.
Click on Attendance Records.
View Employee Attendance Details
The Attendance Records page displays:
Daily Clock In/Out times
Assigned Office Location
Location Type (e.g., within or outside vicinity)
Health Status
Attendance Source (mobile app or timesheet upload)
Search and Filter Records
Use the search box to look up specific employees.
Click the filter icon to filter by category (e.g., department, location, etc.).
Click the calendar icon to filter by date and export the report.
The new office/work location is not found. What should I do?
If your office or work location isn’t appearing in the system, follow these steps to find and send the correct coordinates:
Open the Google Maps app on your device.
Tap and hold on the location where your office is located until a Dropped pin appears.
On iPhone/iPad: Long-press the unlabelled area near your location.
On Android: Tap to expand the location details to see the coordinates.
View the coordinates:
On Android: Coordinates appear at the top of the expanded info sheet.
On iPhone/iPad: Coordinates appear in the Dropped pin pop-up.
Tap the coordinates to copy them.
Send the coordinates to your HR or GEMS System Administrator for location setup.
